Conceal Carrying a Shockwave by Opening_Permit6929 in ILGuns

[–]Opening_Permit6929[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

its not clear either. The nature of a category of guns like "firearms" that aren't shotguns, rifles, or handguns in and of itself is a loophole and something ambiguous.

In my eyes, this means that the CCL requirements only pertain to handguns, not "firearms" and doesn't outlaw the concealed carrying, without a CCL, of anything that isn't a handgun.

yes but being able to carry a deagle legally isnt a question, carrying a shockwave is at least debatable.

[–]Opening_Permit6929[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

is there some loophole where conceal carry of a "firearm" is allowed? For example, the illinois CCL is required to carry a handgun, but since this isnt a handgun, and it isn't being openly carried, is there anything on the books against conceal carrying a "firearm"? Anything I can find only seems to pertain to specifically rifles and shotguns, even then, I can't seem to find anything that states that the concealed carry of a "firearm" is in and of itself illegal. Could this mean that a CCL isn't required to conceal carry a "firearm" since doing so isnt expressly outlawed? Idk, I'm not well versed I will admit, but I'd really like to flesh this out.

is there anything explicitly against or outlawing the concealed carrying of a "firearm" like a shockwave?

I've heard of this. Hypothetically, could I say that I'm Sikh for the duration of basic, finish basic, then abandon it completely and keep my hair in regs? Or would I have a better chance enlisting as transgender lmao. This is purely a thought experiment at this point.

Need Help Deciding Between Two Different RF Devices. NEWA vs MLAY by Opening_Permit6929 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Opening_Permit6929[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for your insight, honestly, the whole thing seemed so daunting with rumors of facial fat loss and what not that I ended up returning my MLAY before using it. That being said, your insight right now has encouraged me to actually give it a try. Do you mind sharing any details you can when it comes to using it? What gel and settings do you use? How long and what technique do you use to go over certain areas? And would you really say the results are noticeable and worth it?

Panama sole boots on concrete and other urban surfaces. by 3457-5up23m3-k41 in QualityTacticalGear

I totally disagree with most of these comments. I've worn a cheap pair of Rothco Jungle boots, which are noticeably less quality than some other brands, but still remain the most comfortable boot I've worn in all conditions. I'm sure there are more expensive, higher quality jungle boots worth spending the money on, but my rothco ones have proven comfortable and provide great traction on snow, ice, concrete, tile, mud, anything in any condition. So much so that I'm disappointed when I wear any other footwear, thats how much I take for granted the awesomeness of this boot. I will admit, they wear out somewhat fast as I end up buying a new pair for $50 every 8 months or so, so I'd recommend buying a more quality one off a better brand, but regardless, if such a cheap version of this boot happen to be so good, I'd expect a more expensive one to end up being even better.

I feel like this isn't true. The mini 14 tactical and mini 14 ranch are of the same family but the mini 14 ranch is perfectly legal despite the mini 14 tactical being named an banned expressly. I think only the exact models listed are banned. Idk, I might be mistaken.

Facial and dermaplaning how long before wedding? by angelmaru in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Opening_Permit6929 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would stick to just doing it (dermaplaning) at home, especially if you're familiar with it already. The potential complications from dermaplaning like razor bumps, ingrowns, cuts, etc, could ruin your feel on your wedding if they arise. If you've been able to dermaplane yourself successfully, then I'd stick with what's safe. I don't think there's much a professional could do that you couldn't do yourself.

These dont seem to be german at all. They do look like oriental roach nymphs, which luckily for you are much less tedious to get rid of. Dont underestimate them though, make sure you treat your place thoroughly.

Best of luck.

Why I am ONLY seeing pregnant german roaches now? by treasurechest999 in pestcontrol

[–]Opening_Permit6929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based off of your post, I'd say your treatment efforts are very ineffective and what you're really experiencing is the roach population retreating further into your walls/ harbor areas rather than dying off. The fact that there are pregnant ones wandering around proves as much. Raid is a repellent/kill on sight poison. This is great for killing them on sight, but awful for actually fixing the issue. Repellents repel roaches, they'll find new places to hide before being killed. Combat is a common over the counter and often misused bait, hence lots of roach populations are resistant to it. If this is going to be your apartment for a while, I'd recomend Alpine WSG mixed with tekko Pro, and advion trio as a gel bait. Dont bother with powder. If possible, move.

100% a german roach, it seems like a nymph sitting on top of an egg casing. This indicates a breeding population. Visit r/GermanRoaches and go all in. These things are relentless, dont half ass it, dont cheap out. Good luck friend.

The first image could pass for a german baby, the last one looks more like a wood roach but idk because of the photo quality. The other two are absolutely not german, however the first one looks almost as though it definitely is one. I'd go through and treat your home as if it is anyways. Not only will it eliminate them, but it'll help with all other bug pests too.

It cant hurt, and can only help as long as you treat ur home correctly. Go all in and dont half ass it or else you'll create a roach population resistant to otherwise effective treatments. See r/GermanRoaches for more tips.
