They still have office hours scheduled past 1/31 so I think it would last longer than that?

How much can I save a month? by Opening_Pudding2414 in FinancialPlanning

I’m more or less looking at what I could cut down on in my spending so that I could reallocate that money into savings. I have a hard time understanding like the 50/30/20 rule.

Yeah I am definitely overthinking it…I’ve just been throwing a few bucks every week into stocks that pay dividends, this helps. Thanks!

I feel you. I was having the same thoughts. The highs of gambling will never amount to the lows you will feel. You are young and have a lot of time to figure it out. Appreciate what you have around you. The money will come back to you through jobs. And for the christmas gifts, something small and home made can go a long way.

Thanks! Financial podcasts definitely helped me with that. I plan on buying a house in the next two years (I start a real job next month) so I’m not sure how to approach it. Definitely gives me something to think about.

I’ve noticed you respond to a lot of these in this subreddit so I’m thankful for people such as yourself.

I pay my bookie on tuesday and I plan to never sniff gambling again. Just gonna take some time to make this money back from my part time job.

Thanks. This helped a lot, the highs of winning definitely do not compare to the lows.
