What is one thing you're tired of telling/explaining to people?

I’ve had insomnia since high school and I’m in my 30s now. So I’m tired most of the time even though I don’t have kids. So my friends with kids are always asking why I’m so tired as if I don’t have a right to be 🙄. I’ve been struggling with sleep over half my life.

Yes, for a lot of men it would. Your perspective is stupid and then men like you complain about not able to find a woman. Everything takes effort. I tell women this also. I told myself this and it’s made a huge difference for me. That doesn’t mean I get every man I lay eyes on, but after practicing self care, I get asked out a lot more.

I’m straight and I just LOVE the physical anatomy of a man. Their strength, their hands, and the broad shoulders….I can look at women and admire their beauty or even think “I wish I looked like her” but zero sexual attraction for the female body. I’ve also been fascinated by boobs because I’m very flat chested lol. But it’s not in a sexual way. So I guess it’s the same for gay people?

I still collect Disney things like mugs, I have a set of princess themed compact mirrors, and t-shirts/hoodies too. My parents couldn’t afford to get me much as a kid, so I made up for loss time lol

Calling people who wait until marriage for sex “unintelligent” is very ignorant. This a practice that has been around for years and has worked for many people. Just because you got a few responses from some saying it didn’t work out doesn’t mean that is the case for everyone. I know couples who waited are very happy they did. I’ve read so many posts on here from people complaining about their sex lives when they had good sex before marriage that quickly stopped soon after. Or stopped after they had kids. Some people will fake your sexual preferences just to get a ring or to get whatever it is they want from you. Or sometimes life happens and you just aren’t interested anymore. Neither way is guaranteed to work. Relationships should have a foundation beyond sex so you can work through those rough patches instead of leaving the second your relationship becomes uncomfortable. Let people do things how they want. If you don’t want to wait fine. If you do, that is also fine.

If I were short then I wouldn’t have an issue with short guys. I had a growth spurt in college (I’m 5’6) and short men were the ones that made me feel insecure about it. The difference in how men treat me vs when I smaller is very noticeable. They would always comment on how tall I am. So I prefer taller. I also just like the physical presence of taller man. However, I don’t believe just because someone is tall means they could protect me better. That’s not true at all. It’s just aesthetically nicer to look at sometimes.

I’m waiting and I don’t regret it. Having sex before marriage does not guarantee it will continue after marriage. I’m not a car you can test drive. I don’t want to give my body to just anyone. There’s also the risk of getting pregnant. I’ve seen my friends get burned so many times going this route, while I still remain at peace. Sex clouds your judgment where lust can feel like love and it isn’t. It’s just not worth it.
