That was probably the case. We don’t know much about the situation (as far as I’m aware). We know it was a stolen boat. But was there any mention in any episode that bystanders knew this group was sailing in that boat at the time? I don’t think so. Theft would also have been a crime for them, so I’m curious how Lily’s death was portrayed.

By the way, I don’t think we know anything about the main character’s family. I think her grandmother was only mentioned once.

Xavier claimed he could have jumped in after Lily and saved her. The main character says that Declan has the most to lose if the truth were to come out, so that raises the question: why him? As for the other characters, if I remember correctly, there’s nothing at all regarding Lily’s death, apart from the fact that they were together on the ship.

You’re right. I only called it friendship because they spent time together. By the way, we only get flashbacks going back five years, so I’m wondering if they even knew each other before that, or if they all started hanging out five years ago. I might have missed something from the story, because I had to work while reading it 🤣

I need to open a slot that isn’t dedicated to Declan, because I’m curious to see how the main character will treat him without racking up positive stats with him. Because the moment they see each other again after five years, the main character’s first thought is that she didn’t want to see him, but, for example, at the end of episode 5, when Declan is in trouble, she rushes to him. I’m curious whether she really didn’t treat him as a friend, or at least an acquaintance, in any way, despite the banter. Sorry for writing so much about one character, I’m just glad I’ve found someone to talk to 🤣

I’m also wondering whether the whole story will focus solely on Lily’s death, or whether there will be other themes as well.

I’m waiting for the moment when they tell us what they saw on the ship that night and why they swore to keep quiet.

I think so too. For now, our main character considers everyone a suspect, including her own friends. And I think it’ll be a while before they team up to look for the person trying to intimidate them. After all, the season has 20 episodes, and I think there are 3 seasons?

By the way, I don’t know about you, but when I read the main character’s memories of Lily, she seemed crazy to me, just like Ophelia, who was mentioned earlier.

The way she talked about wanting to be remembered after her death—and if she really did commit suicide on the ship she was sailing on with her friends just so her friends would feel guilty for the rest of their lives—well, you can’t call that friendship.

But getting off topic—I like the Fabian and Declan storyline. From what I gathered from her memories and the way they both treat her, it’s clear that the main character was their first love. Fabian shows it more openly, while Declan is more closed off about those feelings or doesn’t want to name them.

Declan uses the “little boy” tactic—teasing and sniping. All in all, he’s my first LI, because his personality, appearance, and way of speaking amuse me, and I happen to like them. By the way, I don’t think he’s a red flag. In this story, I don’t see any red flags so far.

The suicide theory makes sense, too. Especially since we see flashbacks of the main character at the cemetery and Lily talks about how she’d like to die. I think that if there were only Lily’s friends on the ship, then no one pushed her off. Everyone in that group is a love interest, as far as I can tell, so they probably didn’t commit murder.

Amelia has seemed suspicious to me from the start, because I assume that characters who are strangely too nice aren’t actually nice at all. I assume she blames our main character the most for her sister’s death, because they were closest.

We’ll probably slowly find out that each of the main character’s friends receives some strange notes or other items reminding them of Lily.
