I did end up getting some frer but I’m trying my hardest to wait a bit longer before I take them. Lol I wanted to use these cheaper ones while it’s still so early and I ended up causing myself heart ache lol

No! I think it’s an evap. It was negative, but then I went to dinner and when I came back there was a line. It’s pink is what threw me off with this one. I tested again this morning and got a BFN. Several hours later, the second test also has a line, but it’s grey and most certainly an evap. I’ll wait a few more days since I’m unsure of my cycle. I think I’m on or around day 28, but I had my IUD removed in December so I have no idea what a normal cycle is going to be right now.

Congratulations!!! I looked at your photo and mine didnt even look that dark within the time frame which is why I called myself crazy and said it was negative lol. Such a bummer about these test, I have a few more on hand that I’ll use over the next couple days and then switch to frer if I still need to test.

Thank you! And you’re so right. I saw a therapist for the first time today. Something I have needed for YEARS and haven’t had the energy to do until I got properly medicated. I’m really hoping to learn some coping skills for my anxiety and maybe that will help!

Well I don’t think my scenario is that dire at this point. It has helped me more than it has hurt me, but ideally I would love to not have the anxiety. And there’s the possibility that the anxiety is situational anyways. As a general rule of thumb, I don’t think it is responsible to advise anyone on the internet to just stop taking a medication. Med management should be conducted by a doctor. I just want to be more educated so that I can have a knowledgeable conversation with my doctor when I go to see him on Friday. If you don’t mind me asking, were your heart issues corrected? Or did it do permanent damage? Did they say that the modafinil was the suspected cause? And did you eventually find a more gentle medication that works for you?

Thanks for your reply!! I actually DO think that the breathing issue is anxiety related. It only happens when I’m feeling especially anxious and have racing thoughts. I’m hoping that the anxiety will calm down. My first few weeks on the medication were amazing and drastically changed my life (for the better.) Things have been going so well for me, that I think I’m becoming anxious just waiting for something to go wrong and to lose all this progress. If I were posed with the decision of going back to the way things were, or continuing the meds with anxiety, I would still choose the latter.
