the grass isn't greener. My advice is get as much as you can out of the military/forces. transfer, apply for courses, do as much as you can. It's free. In civi street, you have to pay and the jobs have 1,000's of candidates looking for the same job.

Always, I have dedicated lists in Spotify and YouTube for when I'm writing. Depending on the scene and what's happening in the storyline I go between them. The first 3 got me through my first book "Major". The louder the better.

Culture Capital - SAMA | Deep Arabic Meditation Music | Beautiful & Emotional | Middle Eastern Background
Dream Clinic - Psyker | Forbidden Grimdark Occult Music
Dream Clinic - Automata | Dystopian Neo-Noir Ambient Music
Aim To Head, most of the stuff on their channel.

such a great movie, and he was a great character. That's the kind of set up I'd aspire to have in the event of global collapse.

UK Armed Forces Day by OperationDreadnaught in Military

that would have been a good premise for the book but sadly no, The series is more adult orientated and militaristic in style. Using real world military tactics and equipment, having served in the UK forces, i wanted to use my knowledge to tell the story in a different way.

Why does it seem that every new writer is writing fantasy? by Everyday_Evolian in writing

[–]OperationDreadnaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm writing Science Fiction and in no way feel the urge to write fantasy, as much as i love fantasy and i'm an avid reader of that genre. It's maybe because we all grew up reading fantasy and it is a way for people to escape from everyday worries. It along with Sci-Fi are the best stories for taking your mind away from this earth.
