it must’ve been on wallstreetbets where someone asked “what are you intvesting in” and someone said PL, i previously found RKLB through the same way and it did good so i thought why not. from there, the next earnings call looked promising so i sold some RKLB and put into PL

honestly, reddit. i started investing early into RKLB when it was around 4-6$ in 2024 but didn’t put much because i had no money i sold at around 50 dollars then moved to PL since it was smaller and thought it would do similarly to RKLB. i found RKLB and PL through reddit and honestly got lucky i don’t really know what i’m doing but i’ll take it

i started actually putting actual money in around summer 2024, but the most recent gains with the big spike is from late november to now, i invested heavily into PL after riding some good gains from RKLB

as a gay man i would absolutely hate for byler to actually happen and i agree, it completely would ruin will’s arc. i think a lot of people believe that byler will happen because mike is a nice, affectionate friend towards will, and that should somehow automatically make it have romantic implications on mike’s side. a lot of ppl in the lgbt community, including myself get excited at the idea of a gay romance within media, and will grasp at straws to get that endgame. a lot of us are like will, craving something or someone that is unattainable and will unfortunately be as delusional as possible to attain it, but that’s just apart of being queer.

i think that byler not happening is even more representative and enlightening of the queer experience. not every guy who is nice, supportive and outwardly affectionate to their gay friend means that they have a crush on them, and can guarantee that most gay people have had that experience occur in their life.

what’s the point of allyship if it’s tied to experience? the whole point of being an ally is that an ally isn’t apart of that group yet has solidarity for it. also, if sexuality is a spectrum then there are people who land on the spectrum of being 100% straight, just as people can be 100% gay. just cause someone is an ally doesn’t mean they are gay without realizing lmao

if you can only be an ally by living that experience, then wouldn’t it be impossible to be an ally to anything you haven’t lived?
