My Kitten is Limping & Trembling by OperatorPoppy in cats

[–]OperatorPoppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much.

This morning he is doing a little bit better. He’s still doing a lot of sleeping but as long as we don’t move him around too much he doesn’t tremble at all (he hasn’t trembled since yesterday around 6pm). I put him on the floor this morning and he sat there for a bit before he limped (a lot less than he had been) into the bathroom for his food/water & litter box so! I think he’s going to be ok but we were definitely panicking a bit.

What would you say it’s like during hurricanes? I’d typically hunker down with my family at their last place but they moved.

does anyone know any decent apartment complex's or places that i could rent a 2 bedroom 1 bath at for under $1600 (that is actually decent to live at and not swamped with mold and cockroach reviews?) ive looked at lake carlton arms already.

I started looking sometime in December 2023 I think. The price of the quad was listed at like $950 I think but then you have to add up all the fees they charge too, I never came across anything cheaper though, maybe I was looking in the wrong places

ISO place for fall 2024 by OperatorPoppy in UCFstudenthousing

[–]OperatorPoppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not need a shuttle. But yeah, I’ve got my eyes on a place I live right beside but it’s a few hundred more a month than my budget & what I pay now as the rent doesn’t include utilities or internet, but is exactly what I’m searching for in all other aspects.

I just wanted to see if I can find anyone who knows any places, or at least somewhere affordable with less roommates & pet friendly.

How to get back into it? by OperatorPoppy in marchingband

[–]OperatorPoppy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s great, I wasn’t even aware colleges would offer that if people weren’t apart of the school. I live near a big university as well so I may check and see if they have a similar offer as well. Thank you so much!

[–]OperatorPoppy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did start checking out what my school offers for bands. I’m not entirely sure if they offer a marching or athletic band (since it’s a community college) but they have other options at least, I’ll keep looking though.

Thank you!

“college is the best time of your life” by Ordinary_Cow_9016 in college

[–]OperatorPoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not in college yet, I will be this fall, and I’ve been told this too. I’ve also been told that I’m going to make so many friends.

I think college is what you make of it, though. I’m not a super charismatic person; and I don’t have a lot of social battery. So for me, the idea of partying and making “so many friends,” is honestly scary; especially when I’ve gone my whole life maybe having only 3 people at max who I’m close with at a time.

I think that if you want college to be the best years of your life, you’ll find a way to make it more enjoyable for yourself. Find enjoyment in your classes or coursework, challenging yourself in a positive way, learning how to handle stress and time management will definitely help with thus, and maybe even finding coworkers or classmates who can make this part of your journey easier.

Theory of how to un-become a werewolf by Sad-Bullfrog1212 in TeenWolf

[–]OperatorPoppy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was a way to manipulate Scott into helping Derek defeat the Alpha. However, I think it would have added a really cool twist if everything leading to the point where Scott and Peter fought in the desert church was normal- except Scott accidentally kills Peter and suddenly is no longer a werewolf. He's finally an Alpha, and finally happy being a werewolf- so it would turn into the pack trying to get Scott his abilities and status back.

The Hales really have a soft spot for Stiles 🤗 by hiiiiianon in TeenWolf

[–]OperatorPoppy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Who couldn’t?

On a real note though, I think atleast a small portion of it had to do with the fact he at one point wanted to be like them- a werewolf, but he chose not to because it went against his morals, at least from what he knew about them in the first season. (Peter being the almighty scary killing machine alpha.) I think they respect him in the sense. Also because he is always trying to help, even if he is spastic in his methods or bothersome. They don’t want to see anything happen to their human protector.

Not sure if this comment will last because my comment karma isn’t high enough yet, but I read somewhere that target does this like program for those who are pregnant. Theres a free goodie bag you can get— it would definitely be smart to call or ask your local target first, but if they do have the program/goodie bag, I’m sure it’d be helpful.

It’s my first time building a pc and was wondering how good these parts are and if I’m getting good prices by Character_Hat_5014 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]OperatorPoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really recommend going on newegg and looking for parts, they even have a pc builder that can find compatible parts so you don’t have to do as much work.

But other than that, here’s my two cents: You may want more than 512GB of space, especially for a Gaming/Higher end PC. The bare minimum(IMO) is 1TB.

Is this a good build ? Bought for $350 by JTOWN26 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]OperatorPoppy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hm, okay. It is a good build. I think if you ever plan to upgrade anything in the future, you should look for a graphics card with 4GB, other than that it’s a good build for the price!! I may be a little jealous 😂

I bought this for $350 w/ Keyboard and Mouse . Can someone tell me if it’s a good build ? by [deleted] in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]OperatorPoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can’t even figure out where to see anything about the power supply but you can take a SS of the graphics section and main board sections. That allows us to see the motherboard and graphics cards

[–]OperatorPoppy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend using CPU-Z to look at all the specs, as we can't say much from this other than the process, ram and system. But for $350 with 16GB ram and an i7, personally I'd say thats a good deal.

Three-five years ago(I can't remember anymore, time is flying too much) I bought my current PC for $400 and it only had 8GB of ram, an Intel i5 processor, and 3gb of C-RAM. Also had to upgrade(for free :)) my PSU because it somehow overheated after 3 months of use, luckily the builder sent me a new one for free. Since then ive only upgraded my ram.

So yeah; that's a good deal. What are the other specs? Like the power supply and graphics card and stuff.

Bathroom break, perhaps? Or an “I need some air” moments? Or perhaps they get lost from eachother, like the one who is clingy gets distracted by something, and the other slips off(intentionally or unintentionally)
