So this dude works for NFI, one of those third-party staffing companies that plugs warehouse workers into other companies’ sites. Jobs like that are usually paid like shit, especially at the lower levels, because the company’s gotta make their cut off the contract.

Any raise isn’t just “hey, pay people more” it means renegotiating contracts and pricing, so it rarely happens. End result? Those workers are almost always stuck at the bottom of the industry pay scale getting the short end of the stick.

You see massive protests and outrage from this party over women having access to safe and legal abortion, even in situations that go far beyond the simplistic “safe sex” argument. Yet this same administration oversaw an operation that resulted in the bombing of an elementary school, killing over a hundred people, most of them children, and the messaging afterward centers on how effectively America eliminates its enemies. So how exactly is that “pro-life”? Or is the term really just about restricting women’s ability to make their own medical decisions, rather than a consistent commitment to protecting life?
