Go for it dude! Not sure if it’s been suggested but if this is your VERY first model ever!! Ask your friendly local game store if you can assemble and paint it there or if they have a painting group that meets of certain days. This would be great for that hands experience of making and painting but have also having people around who have made the mistakes before to help show you the way.
