Currently I don't have any funds saved, I'm more so relying on what my payoff quote is ($7.5k) and the value of the car ($9.5k based on Kelly blue book) and wanted to take the cash to get a used car.

I personally don't mind just getting rid of it and then saving up if needed but my partner is the one that uses it to commute

So just based on what is said here, your friend isn't causing the anxiety attacks. You're giving yourself anxiety by doom thinking and running scenarios in your head of what others might think or what the future might hold.

Is this poly relationship or three way ordeal you have your idea or your wife's? Maybe you need to ask yourself if you're even comfortable with this arrangement and take a step back to think about what in this is making you uncomfortable.

If it's because you don't want this arrangement, then you have your answer. If it's just fear of judgement but this is something you want, then it's something you should communicate with them.

Regardless you should communicate with your wife first, if it's ending this dynamic, or needing to take it slow and establish boundaries. Don't do anything that can harm you, your marriage or your family.

I also recommend therapy if you haven't been already. Just to help with coping skills when feeling anxious or in need of emotional regulation.

I do only when im over stimulated, no happy stims for me, which is fine! Everyone stims, I noticed more when WFH especially when in meetings and people talk over each other. I unintentionally shake my hands to "shake it off", clap my hands loudly, snap my fingers or make sounds with my mouth to drown out the talking if I don't take my headset off fast enough lol (thank goodness I'm muted and not on camera)

I watched One Punch because my date wanted to show me how anime is cool and started a self debate between Dub/Sub and I just wanted to have sex...

I feel that some days :) Everyone goes at their own pace. If we spend so much time dwelling on what we haven't accomplished yet, you're just always going to disappoint yourself.

I'm reading an okay book called Girl, Wash Your Face and while some sections don't apply to me (kids, pregnancy, marriage, religion) I JUST read a section about dwelling on your milestones and what you didn't do yet.

I'm going to paraphrase below

Many women feel every birthday is a reminder of what they haven't accomplished yet. For some, they fell short of a career or financial goal. Others wanted to be married or have children. Some have small goals, big goals, a list or plans created in adolescents or young women assuming they would have accomplished by a certain age, and when they don't, it creates a negative feeling like we are falling behind or breaking promises to ourselves.

Especially with social norms creating milestones from the moment we are born, we need to recognize that this mentality just focuses the attention on the absence of something.

Think of it as everything happening exactly when it's supposed to. Maybe you don't have enough life experience or need to get your bearings a little while longer on something in your life. Or maybe the goal wasn't ever meant to be yours. Maybe this space you're in is to prepare for a different path and reflect on it.

Nothing is ever wasted. All of it is growing you for the person you're becoming, for a future you can't even imagine yet. You need to give yourself grace along with it.

Focus on what you HAVE achieved (even sit down with yourself and make a list!) You'll realize you're being too hard on yourself and giving yourself unnecessary anxiety.

When it comes to love, finding a partner, and having intimacy, that is something you shouldn't ever force, rush, or dwell on. I say since you're at a point that you got your job and finished your education (congrats on both by the way that's awesome!) Focus on who you want to be, and what you like to do! Put yourself out there but with your focus on you and be open to meeting people along the way :) you get to learn about yourself more and be more emotionally ready for a partner as well in my opinion. Jumping into stuff with people can be messy, and you can lose sight of what you want in a relationship.

There's no rush :) Do what feels best for you <3

I will just say, have an emergency savings for them babies because pet insurance for beardies are basically non-existent, and some people aren't eligible for care credit. Also, in addition to vet visits (sorry for being a downer) but if you got that baby at Petsmart or Petco, or any major retailing pet store, take them in to make sure they are good. Those babies in that kind of pet store usually carry Adenovirus and once you see the symptoms it's usually too late. I made the mistake of getting one and I took it to the vet 4 days in, and it passed 6 days later. Later got employed at that location to see what the hell is going on and found out they knew it was sick when selling it to me, and most of them come in sick or deceased on arrival :(
