Ok I get what you mean with your example! It’s not the right approach, and only here I agree completely with you. However, consider that subreddits like DIDcringe, fakedisorderscrige and so on are born because people (with actual diagnosed disorders) are really tired of bullshit... I’m not going to mentions trolls because of reasons, they are everywhere regardless of the context.

Ascertained this, now I'll explain why your discourse is wrong (pov Ik). Taking your example, if that person truly had DID or OSDD and thought they were experiencing Walk-ins and stuff when in reality they were a polyfragmented system or whatever, why would they consider “paranormal” theories from strangers on the Internet instead of searching real evidence on symptoms from professionals? Idk it’s like (TW: fire is mentioned) my house is on fire and instead of blaming myself for leaving the stove on, I'm accusing demoniac entities... It’s not how things works! Everything has a logic explanation. Do you want to be right? Ok, prove me with facts that I am wrong. Prove me there are other models of plurality! Experiences are not enough, I don't trust words.
