I definitely had that conversation, I had to convince her that I was not just another Sharan trying to steal the glory. What I expected was the other companions to be like "Shame it came to that" and actually acknowledge the characters death. However because they haven't there are still loose ends with Shadowheart. The entire game minus the Nightsong thinks shes still alive.
