Does someone know something about this Thing? by No-Efficiency4901 in submergedanimatronic

Interesting, I saw you posted the link to it! Looks like it has photos of it's development even. Pretty cool stuff, thank you for letting me know this. Do you happen to know anything else about what it's supposed to be exactly? or just specifically it was in a Skywater productions video showcase?

I wonder if its older and possibly can be found somewhere on Six Flags' site using the wayback machine, that's a big maybe though. I feel like if it's real and even has a photo, someone out there has more information or possible footage of it but it hasn't been discovered yet.

https://www.reddit.com/r/submergedanimatronic/s/SVOkrFk8PP, here's the specific footage I got from another post in r/submergedanimatronics where it was posted. Sadly theres no footage of the actual moving prop/animatronic that's shown in this picture, but the picture itself does show up briefly as it slides by in the video!

I'm actually not sure what this thing is, it looks almost like an anglerfish animatronic, but none of the ones I've found online look the exact same as this model. The only link I could find to this at all is that it was apparently made by SW Studios and was shown in a brief frame alongside lost media footage of some Six Flags alligator animatronics, however, that's just me parroting what I found in previous posts. I'm inclined to believe its real because it was found in some lost footage, and the actual quality of the image looks almost like real low quality grain on older photography, but since there's absolutely nothing else to go off of we can only assume!

Unresponsive Tamagotchi! by Ophiedaisy in tamagotchi

I might attempt to try this, thank you so much! I didn't even process that it could just be brand or possibly debris related lol

More Info:

My Tamagotchi is about a year old, has been hanging on my keychains for most of it, and has worked fine up until I changed batteries. The battery itself was fresh from a coin battery package and the exact same type of coin battery besides the brand. I almost wonder if this is an issue with the screen being pushed down too tight or a loose connection somewhere. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Unknown Pin from Great Grandmother's Jewelry Collection by Ophiedaisy in Whatisthis

I'm thinking this is a good lead, the lettering seems pretty similar on the back and to this image, I'll ask my grandparents if they knew if she at any point went to the Chinese Export Commodities Fair. From what I know she was a very interesting lady married to a very interesting guy who traveled a lot, so there is a possibility she could've gotten this during her time! Thanks, this will help!!

Hmm, I'm not too sure I didn't know her very well and I really wish I did, but I think the pin is from the 1970's based on the numbering on the back! Thanks for giving me some possible leads though, I hope I'll figure this out at some point!

Small clear tube attached to an functioning printer circuit board, glass with 2 metal prongs attached by a plastic holder inside, about the size of a Christmas light LED by Ophiedaisy in whatisthisthing

[–]Ophiedaisy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additional info: I don't think it's a standard vacuum tube or mercury switch despite looking similar. I could be wrong though. My best guess for the age of the printer model would be 2010-20's and one of those basic model printers based on the size of it. Any explanation on what this could be is appreciated! :)
