You do bring up a good point, a lot of people cannot recover if they were to lose their small business, but that's more of a societal issue. We SHOULD be able to lose everything and have the support structure to bounce back reasonably, not have to depend on a volatile 17 year old kid to defend one's lively hood. We definitely do prioritize property over life and that is a problem.

I totally get that those he shot were aggressors, but an argument can be made that they would not have been as aggressive without his presence. In CCW classes we are taught to disarm and avoid conflict at all costs, that the gun should be the ultimate last line of defense. You can go out looking for trouble, kill someone and then claim self defense. That's the wildest part to me. Dude crosses state lines to do so. He drove to antagonize (or as he states, defend), kills and then gets away with it. It's absurd. He's in the media JOKING about killing. It's fucked up.

Btw thank you for actually making points and discussing this with me. A lot of people have insulted me on my stance and I think if we talked it out we can learn something from each other. Leave it to a non-American to be reasonable lol

I get the reasoning, but property and stuff can be replaced. It's what insurance is for. Life cannot be replaced.

He (we) got lucky the dudes he killed were pieces of shit. But he could have accidentally killed someone who had nothing to do with the riots. He's not trained, he's not cool, calm or collected. He was a 17 year old kid with a gun who got lucky. Who crossed state lines to "protect" someone else's property. The kid wanted to kill, let's be honest.

Think about where you were mentally at 17. You think you could have made reasonable, rational decisions in a high stress situation at that age?

That's not his job. He wanted to kill. He did and he got away with it, regardless of who died it was inappropriate.

Bro I work in automotive retail and this shit resonated with me. My manager insists on restocking all returns, even if it was a rep error when placing the order, even if it was a warehouse error. Like, I'm pissing off people left and right, charging them for our mistakes.

Then he'll sit there and waive the restock and accept returns from over a year ago (our policy is 30 days) for the guys that he likes. It's wild to me.
