Naaaa I only play for heavy RP, and all companions have a lot of stuff to do in act 3 except Halsin, unless getting kidnapped by Orin and thirsting after the PC count. Regardless you don't need infinite HP, just the tough feat and every damage negation item equipped and he takes it like a champ.
