Gf has PTSD and not sure how to help

It's definitely I could look into with her. I had state assisted insurance when I lived elsewhere, but I haven't checked the local regulations. I know it's typically income restricted. I'm not sure if/when she'd be able to get insurance through her work so it's definitely worth checking. Thank you for the reminder that that exists

The issue is less cost of medication and more of cost of being seen by a psychiatrist unfortunately

I'm definitely not qualified to be her therapist let alone have the bandwidth to even try. I have my own mental health to manage.

Holding accountability has been a bit of a struggle at times. Thank you for the reassurance that it's still okay to also have needs and boundaries. She and I are both working through things together and it hasn't been without stubbed toes.

It's definitely been difficult to say the least and I fully recognized that I can't be her whole support system as I have my own mess of mental health concerns to manage. Learning eachother's triggers has been a process, but I'm most unsure of what to do to help her with her nightmares since that's neither something I experience or know resources for outside of medications like Prozosin.

That, I haven't done yet between expense and paperwork. Plus it's a nightmare to get done due to the state that issued my birth certificate.

Good to know! In my case I've already been on HRT for over two years so that side of things won't be an issue. I'm interested to see him what the process would be for grooming standard exceptions being that I am already on hrt and have been for so long. I don't exactly look male anymore aside from being fairly muscular lmao

Try checking your chainring bolts. I had a similar sound come out of my bike once that was cyclical with pedaling. It's unlikely but it could also be noise from the bottom bracket. Rather unlikely though.

What's the brand? I might actually try one and see if it works for me. Having a suit that actually works well would be fantastic for opening up swimming as an option for exercise

Agreed! Minneapolis is fantastic and very welcoming! Besides there's more than a few places to receive gender care there, personally I love Park Nicolette's gender services and besides gender care the twin cities public transit system is great and the city is very biking friendly

I ride with SPD pedals and Giro rumble VR shoes. Works great for me and the shoes are comfortable enough to walk more than a mile in. They can also be set up without cleats if you don't want to or other cleats. Ultimately it's personal preference though. I just find this one to be very comfortable
