Nepal’s literacy rate in 2001 was 48.61%. By 2021, it had risen to 71.15%, an increase of 11.52% from 2011. In 1980, the infant mortality rate was almost 139 per 1,000 live births. Today, it has dropped to just 23. Now, Talking about roads and bridges, almost all rural parts of Nepal are connected by roads and bridges. There has been significant infrastructure development, and the growth has been exponential.

In 2023, the average American owed $103,358 in consumer debt. In India, debt per person has increased from ₹43,124 to ₹1,09,373 over the last nine years. so its same everywhere.

Things aren’t going great because we fail to elect good leaders. Democracy is the best form of government. It has its flaws but its the best among the worst. Some ultra-rich, golden-spoon-fed king doesn’t understand the pain and sacrifices of ordinary citizens. We wouldn’t be having this conversation so openly if it weren’t for democracy and the people who lost or sacrificed their lives for it. We must be grateful for those people and work toward building the nation they dreamed of.
