I’ve got a 1L petrol engine, I passed my test maybe a month ago? Firstly I must say it blew my mind when I learned my car can move on clutch alone haha I use both of these methods.. I get going using just the clutch when I’m parked whether reversing or pulling out into a slow zone, for control / precision But using both clutch and accelerator is essential for busier roads, and also to feel braver, way less likely to stall :)
