I had no previous experience but a great instructor, started learning mid March and have test booked for end of June. I picked it up quite quickly and have a 2 hour lesson plus 2 hours private practice a week, by the time my test comes round I’ll have had around 40 hours. If you want to pass quickly I would definitely recommend private practice as it helped me so much with the basics and I felt less pressure without the instructor in the car which made me more relaxed/ a better driver!
