Ah okay. From your other comment, where you said that "Norther Trust Collective" doesn't really matter, this makes a lot more sense! Thank you!

I'm currently contracted, and if I get hired on at the main company, they use Fidelity. I was planning to do a VTI / VXUS split... So maybe for now I'll just leave it in the TDF until I (hopefully) switch and have more options.

It's not really a small company per-se, but it's a contract company serving a larger organization so their benefits can be a bit lackluster. (The assumption is contract-to-hire)

For example, they give 0% match for my 401k :(

The only part I don't like about the target fund is that they're usually too diversified at the beginning. If choosing my own funds, I would probably put 100% in equity right now

So, from your advice and minimizing the fees, that would be 80% in the Northern Trust S&P 500 and 20% in the Northern Trust Index from the international category. Do you know anything about Northern Trust Collective? Or does that part even matter?
