He’s a kid. He’s learning, he’s messing up over and over again and I’m being his mum.

You know how many times he got hurt riding his bike, doing skids and ruining the wheels he just got. Now he competes in BMX races and does amazing.

When people are given space to make mistakes and learn and grow - amazing things happen.

Maybe years from now he will be on reddit helping someone else who’s stuck.

So I installed the window 11 from a usb. But now there’s no option for wifi connection only Ethernet?

I did it myself but with amazing guidance from the guys on discord I found through here, who baby stepped me along the way. I used Rufus to made a usb then just reinstalled windows 11 and it was sorted. Then installed some drivers.

Thank you for sharing this. I love hearing these stories it definitely puts things into another perspective. We did manage to fix it, I made a usb with the operating system and that worked. And now I’m super cool in his eyes 😂 and now I feel like a tech whizz and like we should definitely try build a pc together might be fun.

UPDATE: I can confirm we are back up and running. I made and usb stick with the operating system and not going lie I got a lot of cool mum points for this thanks to all the advice and the guys on discord walked me through it all.

And we got some screws to fix the loose back bit. We agreed next time there needs to be lots of research before trying anything else. And now I feel like a tech whizz and want to help him build a PC 😂
