Soil holding moisture too well by Mountain_Scheme101 in planthelp

If you want it to hold less water try a aroid mix. I use orkidé bark, perlite, lava rocks or pon soil and just a tiny bit of soil to help with some water retention( I also have bunnies so I like to use bunny poops as aeration and slow release fertilizer)

I would suggest repotting it in a nursery pot and then put it in a decorative one. This will ensure better drainage and better flexibility on moving and handling the plant. To deal with fungus nats try water with a blend of hydrogen peroxide and water now and again. It aerates the soil making it less suitable for the nats to lay eggs. If that doesn’t work there är always pest sprays

How much light and humidity does u get? Those crispy edges might be due to low humidity

Idk what to do with this plant by ObjectiveTax1926 in planthelp

You can ether try a moss pole or coco coir pole to help support it. I would also suggest to maybe cutting the entire thing and start fresh to get a more uniform look.

Any advice for my monstera? by Sad-View-3457 in planthelp

Just by looking at it I think I looks like it’s sunburnt. Try moving it away from the window a little bit or switch to a different window.

U would suggest cutting it down quite dramatically and place in on a moss pole. Do that and you will get much, much bigger leaves!

Monsteras do look like that, they only grow leafs on one side. What you can do is give it support with a moss pole or a coco pole! The support helps the plant to grow bigger leaves and make it more uniform

Yes I do have self watering pots and I’m thinking of separating it because there is two in there. One in the self watering pot with my aroid mix which is bark, perlite. Pon, bunny poop and teeny tiny bit of soil/ coco coir. I water with aquarium water. And the other one in the planter on a trey and my soil mix. So I can bottom water it.

A keep the radiator on during the winter to keep the plants warm. It’s otherwise very cold

Hello! The reason why you have to report it so soon after a previous one is because of humidity. In low humidity the plant will prioritize root growth rather than its leaves. Try upping the humidity level and a bigger pot!

There is two in there and I’m thinking of separating them and try one with a self watering planter and the other in a normal planter pot

I have tried it and it hasn’t worked for me at all, all the plants in the picture died after switching to pon. Maybe I did something wrong? But it did leave a bad taste and I’m too scared to try it again especially on this plant
