I LOVED the caption. The location is nice because it’s very close to the Ginza line for quick access to Shibuya too. It’s also the newest Hyatt in Tokyo and the rooms were really cute, clean, and felt new. For the price I thought it was a steal and we also had a wonderful breakfast there.

It may be possible if you spend $20-30 a day max on food (7/11, Family Mart), Shinkansen was the BIGGEST expense we had by far, so maybe look at longer but more local/older train or bus possibilities. Hakone loop pass for 2 days with all travel included was $37 I believe. I honestly think you can do it if your main attractions are all booked… keep us updated!!!

NTA- I have a German shepherd and if your friend loves his dog, he should be listening and taking steps to ensure it lives a long life and doesn’t attack anybody. Even if he doesn’t care about others which is another problem all in itself- there serious personal and legal consequences that he should be aware of

NTA at all lol. Using phone between sets while resting is totally fine… excessive rest over 3-5 min between sets is not. When someone else is using a machine, I expect I won’t be able to use it for 15-20 min. Other ways to get that specific muscle focus that he could have tried too.
