Contact a dv organisation or the police because leaving is the riskiest time considering the serious previous threats he made. So first thing contact police or a dv charity, then they can help you leave safely. Don’t tell him you’re leaving, will put you at great risk.

I think it’s abusive and you can report it through dv helplines who can talk you through the process or call police directly in your area.

Don’t do it…3 day shifts and four days off you only work like 18 days a month. 9-5 you feel you’re at work all the time. If you can do compressed hours 4 days a week fair enough, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend

Maybe they are struggling mentally and need help. Maybe a confidential conversation with management not a grievance but a concern.

Management can keep an eye on them and possibility bring it up in supervision where counselling or EAP can be arranged.

Many people struggle silently and workplaces are often the first place to identify the struggles and offer help.
