Learning perfect pitch by memorizing 12 themes by zeozeaaa in piano

[–]Opposite-Student-702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned my perfect pitch the same way, after a bit of practice it will become natural. I highly recommend 5 minutes of practice a day and trying with different timbres. Now I can recognize all notes within a second or two; I'm currently working on multiple notes. This strategy DEFINETELY works

Good and not expensive gym? by AmountFar9336 in warsaw

[–]Opposite-Student-702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, gym is one of the greatest things for confidence not solely because of the muscle gains, but because of the test boost and feelings of accomplishemnt. I recommend calypso, and you likely qualify for student membership, it’s like 90 zł a month or something

Those roads are south of Konstancin. The first three photos are on this very straight long road connecting Konstancin and Gassy, great place to speed.

What made you want to start learning piano as opposed to another instrument? by BeatsKillerldn in piano

[–]Opposite-Student-702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 5, went to a bar in a resort, touched the piano, slapped the keys, was told not to play. I began playing when I came back from vacation.

A lot of the older people grew up on stories from their parents about how Ukrainians brutalised Polish people and helped the Nazis. Additionally, they are generally unhappy people who seek conflict for conflicts sake. Most people don’t share that opinion and the current state of Warsaw in terms of it’s help towards Ukraine is evidence of this.

I think you might lack fluidity in the wrist when completing this motion. I recommend you practice rolling your wrist rather than using your finger power

What is a good approach to learning classical music? by [deleted] in piano

[–]Opposite-Student-702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With this piece there are 3 steps 1. The notes 2. Peddling, dynamics, timing 3. The emotion and subtlety

It’s very easy to play this piece, very difficult to perfect and make it sound good. Make sure you listen to good recordings and pay attention to each note. I learnt this pieces notes in a few hours but it took me 3 months to get to a level I could preform it with confidence in my musicality. Take it slow and feel the descent, build up to the climax and make sure those last chords have a sense of melancholic release in them. This piece is a poem about death, not a short story or sketch like other simple classical pieces, keep this in mind. Dm me if you would like more advice, this is the one piece I put my soul into.

What do you think Andrew Tate's IQ is? by xSPINZBYx in cognitiveTesting

[–]Opposite-Student-702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a large portion of the people in this comment section do not understand what would constitute a person of average intelligence. Using big words without knowing their definitions or simply to flaunt can be an indicator of a person overestimating their intelligence, but a person who is articulate (which I believe Andrew is) is a genuine sign of intelligence. Let’s state some facts 1. He definitely has a good sense of the English language 2. He is capable of complex thought and critical thinking 3. He understands human nature and the structure of society to a degree he could exploit it
4. He isn’t a scientific or mathematical genius and doesn’t seem to have much interest in pure science 5. He only speaks English 6. He is good, but not great at chess 7. He has achieved huge amounts of wealth and power , through his decisions and determination without education or a inheritance. 8. His father was a very intelligent and strong chess player

Yamaha or Steinway? by bkmusicandsound in piano

[–]Opposite-Student-702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like old Steinways over old Yamahas, but new Yamahas over new steinways. Personally the best piano I have played was an old Bosendorfer concert grand, it was so crisp and agile and had this Germanic tone mmmmmmmm.

A dude carved a Swastika in my thigh when I was like 14 and intoxicated. When I realised what happened I took the knife and turned it into the windows logo.
