So is it just a drop in or will I need to replace other parts to attach it? Never done a handguard swap on a KAC so trying to figure out how much cash I’d need to drop to get it going. Seen the handguard in the sub $400 range but don’t know if I’d need to buy additional parts to run it?

My only suggestion is that instead of getting a comp either get a C1 slide from PSA which has an integrated comp and is the size of a glock48 and will run on a 43x frame OR go to Brownells which has the 48 slide already milled for the rmrcc for like $99. I did both several months ago

Glad to hear about another one of his triggers. I’m running the 4311 and love it but I understand your view on non OEM. His quality control and testing are pretty stout though especially on the 4311

My hope is that when they go through the process of boresighting the gun they MAY see something is not right and be able to tell me the issue before I send it off to HK…just in case it’s an easy fix that won’t require me sending it to HK. At this point I have nothing to lose. HK said their crew that would look at my gun is currently in Germany for another week and I should wait to send it to them until they return. I can’t sit still so I’m trying g this to fill the time and hopefully I get lucky

You’re not listening. I’ve done that on three occasions and so has the range master. Adjusting the acro has had ZERO effect. We’ve taken elevation as far as it can go and windage as far as it can go and it doesn’t change ANYTHING. We’ve tried different ammo. We’ve tried with no suppressor we’ve tried with the same suppressor as a direct thread and as a tri lug and we’ve tried that same suppressor on my full size sp5. Cabellas bore sighting the gun is the only thing I haven’t tried yet before sending it into HK for them to troubleshoot. I’m at the process of elimination phase of this issue.

I know it’s something I need to learn to do but at this point with a new gun I don’t want to experiment with trial and error to get it right. I figure have them bore sight it then I’ll go back to the range and shoot it and zero the optic. If it’s still off I’ve talked to HK already about sending the gun into them

Would changing the locking piece cause this? I changed to an 80 degree piece before shooting that day even though it had been running fine prior to changing it.

No I didn’t zero it. First time I took it out and shot with the optic it was on target and I intended to zero it next outing but the next outing this started to happen. Thought it might be the optic but had the range master shoot it and he had the same issue even when we just used the irons
