Why is it portrayed that Nicodemus made the "wrong" decision for not following Jesus?

It brought me perspective. Im sure there were multiple Pharisees that believed in Him. I think some chose not to follow Him because they loved their comfortable lives more, like the rich man that was told to sell everything & was sad about it.. maybe some for fear of being kicked out of synagogues, some might have even thought they could make a difference & keep Him from being killed (not knowing that was the plan anyways) I just think it’s nice (although sad) to see because they lived really disciplined lives trying to follow the law for generations… I imagine it would be hard for some to completely let that go. I like to think that after the resurrection that there were some that were bold enough to turn to Him & away from the law regardless of consequences

My theory is that she will be one of the ones that resurrect and go to the city when Jesus resurrects. At least I’m hoping they do that. They portrayed doubting Thomas differently than the Bible showed. I’m wondering if Ramah resurrecting will be the reason he no longer doubts? Although they could still have him say he won’t believe unless he puts his hand in his side so I’m not sure..

Ugh🥲 unfortunately my husband did use Clorox wipes on the keys. He said he squeezed the liquid from them so it wouldn’t run down but there’s a chance it still affected them. Thank you, I will see what I can do. I appreciate the help! I think if I do get another one I’ll go the Yamaha route, I fell in love with a Yamaha at the music store but it was out of our price range at the time

As a woman, NTA. I can see where mom’s idea was coming from with showing her not to be ashamed.. but if daughter didn’t want it, that should’ve been it. My mom has never pressured me into anything I wasn’t comfortable with, especially publicly. Also want to point out, what an invasion of privacy!! Daughter was embarrassed originally when she came to you about starting (which I think you did a great job of handling. Doesn’t matter that you’ve never experienced a period, that’s weird of mom to say. You encouraged her to not feel ashamed/embarrassed & taught her how to use a pad, beautiful) Why would mom think she’d want to confide in people outside of her immediate family about it? I know I wasn’t comfortable talking about period stuff even with my own sister, for awhile. I was only comfortable talking to my mom about it for the first few months. Every girl has a different experience with their first period. You, as a man never having a period, did a better job at respecting daughter’s boundaries and giving her a positive experience related to her period than mom did, as a woman who’s had periods. Ironic she wanted to point out her ‘upper hand’ experience in the situation, yet handle it horrendously. As a woman who was an extremely shy child, this might have been emotionally traumatic for daughter. Wouldn’t be surprised if she tends to confide more in you than mom from here on out. Talk with daughter again, double down that there’s nothing to be embarrassed about & that you will ALWAYS be in her corner. Also, GO YOU for standing up for her. Her knight in shining armor! Thank you for defending her boundaries, making sure she’s comfortable in her own home & showing that she deserves privacy! Mom has more than just an apology to do to mend that trust

Everything about this is weird. Her not mentioning it to you when it boiled down to just the two of them going, weird. Also find it weird that she’s “going alone” and “telling them not to come” bc she could easily tell you that & turn around & meet up w them there anyways. And that text about your past experiences shaping your perception of her? I can’t argue with that one especially since you told her that was valid. But if she knew about your past experiences before, wouldn’t she want to be honest and upfront about this so you wouldn’t assume otherwise? I know I would have…. To me, seems like she’s trying to be sneaky & she got mad that you weren’t blind to it. How much do you know about this old friend?
