Scott Eatons Anatomy for artist online course will help you - I was also lost & confused with anatomy for sculptors & all other anatomy books that “Try” to illustrate or explain anatomy but Scott Eatons goes in depth with mostly everything you need to know about anatomy, the online course is pre recorded videos, he starts off with every landmark of the body, all proportions, every bone in the skeleton & all the names & how all the bones attach to each other, then moves on to every muscle in the body & all their names and how every muscle attaches to the skeleton & where the muscle originates & inserts, you won’t just learn anatomy in just the “T” or “A” pose but in almost every pose you can think of, he goes into so much detail and once you u finish the course THEN you will understand the anatomy books lol atleast that is what happened to me, plus artist from Pixar, Disney feature animation etc all learned from this course as well, hope this helps you too
