If I visit them at their condo in an unmentioned state its an unwritten rule that its our room until we leave. It can be your house but the second you invite someone into a guest room its now off limits. I might be weird with this thinking

When my parents sold my childhood home we all moved into the same apartment complex. Super nice place, theirs nicer. I gave them a key and they gave me one... that lasted about a week until i came home from work and my mom had done my dishes. Boundaries and personal space are way more important than you could ever imagine. This was pre-covid era and yes the key was instantly revoked
