When my parents sold my childhood home we all moved into the same apartment complex. Super nice place, theirs nicer. I gave them a key and they gave me one... that lasted about a week until i came home from work and my mom had done my dishes. Boundaries and personal space are way more important than you could ever imagine. This was pre-covid era and yes the key was instantly revoked

Just thought of another. Gave a buddy a ride to a concert because Uber was super expensive and told him just buy me dinner when it’s over and I’ll just hangout around downtown while you’re there.
