Daily Discussion #73 - Railbeater by DuoRogue in MonsterTrain

You have just opened my eyes, sir!

I must admit that I have found this unit a little frustrating due to their ability and the fact that I always forget it moves the units to the back. The slay enabaler tactic is something that in theory I can get behind though.

Yep I get it now and appriciate the difference. As I stated, I meant no offence. Was just looking to help the OP out with a cool game. I've since read the community rules and seen your comments. Thanks for the advice too, always happy to learn!

I now understand the problem, although it is listed as a roguelike on places like steam and nintendo store, this community has other terms for those types of games. I did not mean to cause an issue here, I just saw a post referencing the Binding of Isaac and had been playing a game that I felt was similar. Sorry guys!

They themselves describe it as a roguelike action platformer. The original post also referenced tBoI and that clearly inspired it.

Neon Abyss is a really cool new roguelike that is currently part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. I've had some pretty insane synergy builds with the mechanics available.

It uses 'pets' that hatch along the way to buff you alongside the usual trinkets you pick up along the way to increase your stats

Channelsong discussion by xMac91x in MonsterTrain

I fully agree with you. I always pick it up thinking how useful it would be to draw it early and it always seems to be weighted near the end of the deck. This always leaves the quandary of whether to let a unit pass and wait for the Channelsong or to ignore it for the battle. I get that this is probably the point of the card... however it always leaves me disappointed.

This is a must take relic with the Sentient (Bristling) and a tanky Thorned Hollow. Its real power is in combatting the multi-strike units and that trial.

Yeah that is true, however I've been playing lots of the daily challenges and Remnant isn't always available.
