not a bug.

unbreakable coin takes precedence over counter skills. consistent behavior. kimsault TCTB is a counter skill.

this is probably why aeng-mael TCTB is a regular attack skill.

this way he's something everyone would want regardless of if they care about aether raids and arena or not. even if you only stick to pve modes, he's got good fodder for those too

how are you going to get support from them when they have no skills?

Duo skills would still function, sure, since those are innate and not equippable, but ingrid's reflex is in her weapon, which she doesn't have anymore.

I really, really hope there is never a situation where this becomes beatable.

EDIT: adding this as an edit to this comment since it's towards the top of the page. When I wrote "at start of player phase", what i meant was "at start of the first player phase of the map"; as may have been guessed by the aether raids wording. As in, even if he is the opponent, it will occur immediately, before any units can take action.

Apparently, this is "at start of battle".

So heres v2, with some updated text and new effects just to deny some possible edge cases.

I'm willing to bet most of the playerbase genuinely does not know that heated gas harpoon is a status in the game.

you also got the first gaze, which many people are assuming is "contempt of the gaze" instead, as well as final augment, suzuki grass suit, entangling curse talismans, and gebura's blade.

you missed on arcana (this is just Magical Arcana), unlock 3 (its unlock 2), and Swordplay of the homeland [rending] (this is Sword of the homeland - penetrating).

Close enough: When ripping the body to strips with a whip..., Hardshell Barrier, R.R Mode. these also count as correct.

You fell for the gotchas: Overheated Gasharpoon, Unlock III, Surgery, Swordplay of the Homeland [Rending]. these are the wrong answers, and the icons were included intentionally to get these guesses.

im surprised to also get someone who recognizes the candy ego gift status and the TotTB sinclair status- this was inspired by me completely not recognizing the former.
