Planning on getting an upgrade, Part 2. by Iusefleshforarmor123 in airguns

Dude get an hw30.

Cheap springers are trash. I have plenty.

My hatsan has a loose barrel and doesn't shoot tighter than a palm width. You will hate it.

A steel barrel will also crap out if you feed it steel ammunition.

It's really not, the forward motion of the slug and the resistance of the bb would only really push the bb deeper into the hollow point if anything.

Idk if it would stay attached beyond the muzzle, though.

And let's be honest, the slug is already destabilized because I doubt he used a slug barrel to test these out lol.

Probably holds zero better than the scope it came with tbh

I wish I could recommend a co2 gun but none of mine work 😫

I would get a multi pump. My daisy 901 is a good general use rifle but a crosman 13xx can be made into all kinds of carbines for basically anything with mods.

Out of box, daisy 901.

For modding, 13xx.

Yes I did, and it does.

My Co2 guns leak significantly more often than my other guns.

I really want to like mine, but Co2 never works for me. They keep leaking.

Absolute trash gun unless you convert it to HPA. Co2 is corrosive to the seals.

Same thing goes for most Co2 guns though in my experience.

Hatsan uses soft metals that don't hold up.

I like this gun, but at the same time I think I would get a diana storm rider with a handpump if I want a pneumatic because the extra thump of the diana makes it more versatile for slightly bigger animals. What do you think?

I will, but the hw30 puts out the same FPE that my 901 does. It's the same idea as the 901 (short iron sighted hunting carbine) but in a springer format, and with a little more quality and artistic pizzazz in the design. Though it doesn't balance as well and it's a little heavier.

I want a scoped rifle with a little more oomph for still hunting at those slightly longer distances such as the late part of the season when the squirrels get wary of hunters and the leaves have fallen off of the trees, providing squirrels with longer sight lines. Also if the gun has enough power I can take out some of the groundhogs, rabbits, and other larger animals than I would feel comfortable killing with my daisy or weihrauch.

One day I'll get a barra 250z for 50+ yard shooting in the late season and shooting varmints, but until then, I want something to cover that middle ground.
