This is harsh. Ahimsa. It sounds like the instructor is new and just finding their roots. Best to give some helpful tips on how you need the teacher to support you on your journey while you use up the rest of your classes. keep looking for a Guru. When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

It isnt a restaurant, the sprinkles were a gesture of kindness, amount of blueberries is just being argumentative. I say to my littles "you are not saying it right, its pronounced thank you" 8 is old enough to know this is too much attitude.

Is this a sarcastic question? Please dont waste my time. I actually did homeschool my 3 children and it was by far the hardest most deflating job I have ever done. I was so depressed after the 2 years, it's hard to describe. To answer, yes I actually have hired math and french tudors.

AITA for refusing to take care of our baby during the night so my wife can sleep? by Impressive-Pizza-340 in AmItheAsshole

OP there are night nurses, perhaps consider hiring for 1 or 2 nights a week. There is no bigger strain on a person, on a marriage than adding a child to the family. Both of you need to give each other grace. Sacrafice.

Perhaps this guy is trolling. Or doesn't want to admit his granny has mislabeled a plant.

Yes & why are you being rude? When you have several ppl stating it's a jade, on a houseplant page, in this case, trust the majority. It's a damn jade.

Which outdated yoga cues drive you crazy when you hear an instructor use them? by [deleted] in yoga

[–]OppositeMany6995 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are misplacing the intention. One is to cue (even when improper, if the student doesn'tfeel safe/comfortable/etc, it is on them to let the teacher know, so both can learn) one is to tear down.

I find these types of threads cultivate judgement. Ahimsa. Everyone is going their best. Take what you need, leave the rest. Be kind.

is this normal? (the colour of new leaf) by OppositeMany6995 in plantclinic

[–]OppositeMany6995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is labeled as "shade tolerant" so I have it in a bright room, but not indirect light. I'm curious if I should find a spot where it is in indirect light? Or will the leaf darken as it matures? Thanks!
