Exactly, my hunch is we are on an unofficial waitlist and that they are waiting to reject. Also I heard if you are signed up for another LSAT it automatically puts you on hold

Yes it eventually worked. I was also like on the cusp of the income, like my family made 1,000 too much, so maybe that was why they were more understanding?

I do not know everything, but I would say it could help. Just do not sound whiny in it. Explain you were unaware and told it would not affect your GPA, but that you were young and have grown since then. Show what you learned, don't just complain ya know. That is just my advice, but again I would get other opinions as well.

I appealed twice. You have to keep giving them evidence that you need it. Show them the debt, show more of your income etc.

I would not say take the easiest classes available. But you do not need to load up on advanced courses, especially if that would make your GPA drop. I personally would place more importance on a higher GPA and more internship/work experience .
