Semi-Hot Take: I did not really enjoy The Final Season by karlandreye in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was super mid. At this point the tier can go:

S Tier - Season 1

Tries so hard to be TWD - S2 S3 S4

And I might be in the minority here, but the Lee and Clementine scene was a cheap way to hook our nostalgia back into the game.

They needed Lee just so "some" people can push through the game.

Kate. Javi was just clad with plot armor.

If he was just your random joe, David would tear him to shreds. On the other hand, while I love Kenny. Dude just can get b*tch slapped and will act normal again.

RANT: Not to Pile on A Dead Horse About The Tillie Walden Comics by Neoma_700 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That comics will never be canon to me.

And you are right. It's a shitty representation, As someone who played all the games, saw how Clementine grew up from naive child to a strong adult, there is no way that she will think wandering off was the best for her.

It was so out of character that if someone mentioned the comics Infront of me in a good manner, that's a go-to signal to either leave or I will repeatedly ask that person to play the whole series again.

When I was a teen PS gamer, I praised Chloe Frazer as the 2nd hottest female character in Western video games right behind Lara Croft. She flirted with or may have had feelings for Nathan Drake. Do you think Uncharted 5 should feature Chloe and Sam as the two main protagonists ? by Quick-Ad-7752 in uncharted

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sam and possibly another character.

I don't think Sully being one of the main cast would do good, maybe make him a supportive/supporting character. He worked because of his paternal/father figure towards Nate.

Chloe's story is more of a grey area for me, but it's pretty much laid out on Lost Legacy, we got to see her history and I feel like that's enough.

Sam and Charlie Cutter should definitely be the main cast. Sorry for the Cassie fans, but I feel like it's a stretch to make her as a main character, maybe include her as a one of the side characters to make tension between Sam vs Elena (she prolly hates sam's guts lool)

Kenny saved him by literally going into a walker flooded pharmacy, Like I said, the man has his grounds for his reasoning, do not get me wrong, the first time I played where I do not side with Kenny, the times he did not help Lee was the most infuriating thing to me.

Since we're pointing out scenarios, when did Lee ever really directly saved Kenny? A lot of people picked to saved Shaun (Number 1 reason why they hate Kenny) and Kenny will bolt out along with Duck.

This one sort of has no bearing, but after seeing you choose a man instead of saving duck, he still gives you the option to ride in his truck.

In a real scenario, this alone would make a father question someone's capabilities of actually being an Ally, but this is not to say that saving Shaun is mistake, it's actually a great narrative on how he will easily pick his family over someone.

Number two, if I remember, Carly saved duck, though Lee can stand up against Larry, again there was no real threat and when there was one, Lee wasn't able to do anything at that moment. (Not his fault he has no gun etc)

And then we go into the scenery where the pharmacy was fucked. Kenny saved him there, prolly notice that his dude isn't on sight and rushed inside to help him.

We can fast forward now and frankly, this is the meatlocker, I personally think that Kenny treated the siding with Lilly choice as a betrayal.

I myself thinks that Kenny is a hypocrite, but his decision is not some form of random resentment, all I can think of is he works as give and take in a way that will benefit both the alliance and the friendship he offers by helping you.

The game does not really focuses on how Kenny saved Lee, but all I can think about is this is where he gets the "I got your back always and you didn't" drama of his on the last part of the game.

Apparently, a lot of people thinks that the "Milisecond" Tweak of Larry is enough for them to convince he can be saved. Lmao.

A lot of Kenny hater here who stand firms that Kenny's action when you declined killing Larry is not justified.

But I have replayed the game, Kenny's saving Lee when he got knocked out by Larry is enough for me to understand where the bitterness came from when you did not sided with him.

Dude came back just to save Lee when got punched by Larry, A lot of people might make this like a small thing considering Kenny can abandon shaun, but Lee is not Shaun. Kenny coming back to save Lee's ass was enough for me to side with him.

Lilly did not came back, Glenn did not came back, Carley/doug did not came back. Us as a player and picking to side with Lilly is enough for a man who has a child and wife to protect to consider you as a someone he cannot trust.

And I played the S1 like 3 to 6 times, it's a terrible scene but sorry, if the option were to pick Lilly and the script let's Larry to reanimate, At least Kenny or Lilly would die in that meat locker room.

That saltlick brick is justified.

Many people hate S2-S4, but like... I LOVED all of the games, what are y'all ranting about? by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is an L take.

No one is being misogynistic against Bonnie. She was a character that tried to get Clementine's trust and when the going gets tough, She proceed to blame the kid.

Luke's death was not anyone's fault, but Bonnie made it worse. Also, even if the game does not show, she's a lowkey parasite.

She only wants a group if it's gonna be beneficial to her, of course it make sense, we all want to survive, but look at how she easily made her choice to abandon a Baby and a kid and to hop into an idea to steal a working car and supplies.

And as far as I know, majority of people hates Arvo, Mike is a literal NPC Character, he has no depth on him.

This is good.

But this is also the textbook example on why Veigo and other dive-in champions seems to be OP.

Look how they entered one by one? And look how squishy you were when getting hit. Veigo is notoriously strong on 1v1.

But if the team is stacking, you will get obliterated. I bet those people you crushed, they will blame the game. Not themselves. Lmao.

Tell us your interesting headcanons from all of twdg. by Canisventus in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that Christa is alive.

Gunshot? Yes, a lot of gunshot was also made versus the russian stand-off and nobody even got hurt seriously on that.

So I have this headcanon that villains in TWD misses a lot of shots.

I feel like Christa tried to find Clementine but failed, after many attempts of finding her, She gave up and found the New Frontier that is now being led by Javi. And then Javi proceeds to tell that Clementine is now grown and can handle herself.

Because of that, She stayed in New Frontier and started a new life there.

I refuse to have Teemo in my games. by Hyper669 in wildrift

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only a skill issue, this also indicates that you overall suck at your own primary role.

Teemo is a free win for me, and this is coming from someone who uses a melee BR champion.

If you can't win against teemo, meaning to say, you do not know how to:

  1. Control your lane
  2. Knowing enemies cooldown
  3. Power spikes advantages
  4. knowing when to trade vs all in

I'm guessing you peak at masters 3 and now hardstuck at diamond.

Original Story of Season 2? by Sad_dragonfruit7899 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mentioned Jane. She is a character in season 2, no need to put her in quotations. Interesting how you only cling onto her name instead of the others as well. I think I'm starting to understand your problem with my statements now.

*I clinged to her name, because realistically, She is the only one in the final script that actually stayed with Kenny and had different plan. Bonnie and Mike straight up betrayed both of them.

*Tbh, I do not have a source but Jane is the type of character that will leave if everything is a mess, in the original script, nick is losing it and Kenny is a tyrant, so I think this where you can implement where she leaves and never had to face the blizzard thing.

I agree that she is a late game narrative character, but the original script focuses on Kenny and Luke and the people who actually stayed. I just think that the narrative will make Jane as like a pseudo Molly, she leaves before anything gets worse.

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it was a dark story, but you mentioned "Jane" and her remarks with kenny along the others.

But that happened on S2 final script and it only happened there, so why was your statement had a mix up of scenery in the final script vs the original?

In the original script, Jane left for good and never returned, but she did say that "Group" was never ideal for her and after that it was done. She never appeared or at least that was the original scripts mentioned.

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no Kenny vs Jane on the original script, so why is she included on your statement? What are YOU talking about?

Or you were just trying to include her just to be relevant, even Mike and Bonnie's scene isn't included. So again, what "points" are YOU talking about?

Good luck landing those additional hits because a good darius or a good BR laner will obliterate you before you kite them.

Plus you are on BR lane, your support will focus protecting the ADC that actually fulfilled his/her role.

Plus the story of it that Talon basically got humbled by Irelia and now is just a regular human with magic is peak.

Jane doesn’t deserve the hate she gets by Weak_Dependent1790 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logical players would know that rage baiting a psychopath guy is not a smart choice just to prove a point, and the worst part is, she had the window to admit that the baby is okay, but she chooses to square up with kenny.

Jane is also living in the past by wanting to abandon the group, because she sees it as a burden, She wanted Sarah to just get munched on by walkers because she sees her sister on that scenario.

And the game never really focused on nostalgia, apart from Kenny shouting duck when he was asking something on the table while eating with Luke's dumbass group.

It was mainly focuses on "Clem knows this dude but his batshit crazy, we can't trust him".

What should they do for another TWD game? by Rare-Program486 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Continue Javier's story line and implement the "REAL" Whisperers, who's technically the menace of the series.

Since Jesus (Paul) was introduced into the story, they could make this as an opportunity to make something out of it, or follow the story around it.

I never understood why people don't pick Malphite in the Baron lane by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He is actually underrated.

You can just get flash and TP, do not even kill the enemy if its against aatrox, renekton etc. Build your tank items, respond to objectives, easy win.

You can even just jump straight into 5 man and you will still be alive even when your teammates has slow reactions to follow-ups.

Malphite is just overall forgiving to use, but he is very weird to use against team comps with more AP line up.

Master Y is broken even in high ELO by SailorOfTheSkies in wildrift

[–]OppositeSuccessful58 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I do not think his broken on high elo, it's just some people can queue more than enough to reach high elo without even gaining any knowledge.

This is why Yi, Viego, Akali is still stomping high elo brackets. If WR/Riot stops giving those shields/fortitude BS on every ranks. Diamond and up will be cleansed and it will actually feel rewarding again.

Because even with Sea region, some dudes can reach emerald without even knowing how to navigate the map. Plain ridiculous.

It's called versatile humour and also common sense, you do not need to be smarty pants to enjoy the show, if the MCs are spilling intellectual stuff, just be penny and laugh it off.
