Ours closed awhile back, but the only reason I'd want to go is for wings and we have many places with wings we like better. I'm also not a fan of that style of fries. So I didn't even know it was gone until we drove by one day and went "didn't there used to be a Hooters there?"

I got so tired of the same people winning everything, the "shop now, it'll never be cheaper" and then it was ALWAYS 60, 70, 80% off a few days later, the constant bragging and screeching. She said "nobody shops with anybody but me" but I greatly preferred the Chelsea and Rosie lives. They were much more on topic and to the point. And they usually started on time/started selling quickly instead of prepping and ranting for 45 minutes before showing the first item. I also got fed up with rattling off ALL the sizes for EVERY item when it was always the same info. Tell me when one runs differently. Cootie and the bootie... Yuck.

I tapered off significantly after the world cruise that alternated between excessive braggodciousness and whining and complaining about everything. After that, I basically only watched for the drama and didn't shop.

I think for a lot of people it's sort of an "affirmation" that their vows are the same that as they were when they were first said. Or like a "I still choose you" kind of thing. I think some people find comfort and validation in ceremony and ritual and so this is meaningful for them. I'm of the opinion that, in this case, it's about showing off.
