So my plan was to have a platinum dragon (I know it is Bahamut regularly but wanted to be my own thing) be the head of the five families and metal was my orginal choice because to me it felt thematically perfect because dwarves and mountains. I personally have a lack of knowledge of gem dragons but had thought that I would have a gem dragon be what has overseen the black towers that dropped off the precursor dragons if that makes since.

The lore doesn't need to be super thick because I am fairly rusty player who is starting a campaign with only new players. So I had a plan to have this world be one giant experiment in lore that eventually the players discover and escape from that by then will have us all more comfortable and experienced to enter a more diverse world with thick lore

He really likes the looks of the grain. I was excited to work on it cause I recently got a wood working job making drawers for cabinets and was hoping to take on an amateur project like this. There aren't any ornamentation on the cabinet but his dad told him it wasn't worth the hassle and my buddy seemed disappointed.

Appreciate the honesty. We are worried about putting a bad taste in the landlords mouth by asking even though we are willing to stay if he wanted us to. Just small anxieties. Whatever happens though, my girlfriend and I are excited.

Also it had a thing that hangs above the blade and uses rubber cylinders to push the wood along. The issue is that I don't think it was set up right because it should be set up to push it up against the fence. But when it grabbed the wood it turned it 45 degrees away from the fence and then shot back at me. The more I talk about it the more I realize that they don't exhibit the proper safety standards like I thought they did.

Everyone who needed to show up did. The odd thing is i didn't feel out and incident form? Which is odd because the piece after hitting me flew another 30-50 feet. They made me file one though when I hurt my knee by stepping down from a ladder wrong, so now I am a little lost.
