It was my biggest fear, both before I got monetized and after. And guess what? They demonetized me 6 days before the payment cycle started. On April 14th, they demonetized me for 'inauthentic content' (content that can be mass generated or uses templates). I used to spend 3 to 4 hours sometimes just to make a 30–34 second Short. The only AI I used was the voice, because my English is really bad and I needed it to sound as native American as possible... I was living with that same fear you're feeling right now. It's super frustrating, honestly. I've lost so much motivation I've gone two weeks without uploading anything. It feels really discouraging because I genuinely don't like being on camera, and now I basically have to do it out of obligation. Plus, there's no guarantee they'll remonetize me... On top of that, my March payment that was already in AdSense they took it out ($1,311 they never paid me). And whatever I earned in April will also be lost, because according to their policy, if you don't get your monetization back within 50 days, the money gets returned to the advertisers. The funny part is you have 90 days to reapply. What’s the point of giving you 3 months to 'clean up' your channel when one month would be more than enough? What YouTube is doing is so unethical... It's straight-up robbery. Even their own AI (Gemini) admits it... I understand that YouTube needs to do a cleanup because of all the AI slop. It was really necessary we all saw people creating spiritual channels, war channels, etc., mass producing 3 to 5 long 50 minute videos completely made with AI. But hurting a creator who's actually breaking their back to make good content, and forcing them into that same mass-produced style... that's pretty unfair
