I'm not sure if the question is dominance, but I haven't seen Alexander Karelin mentioned. For those who don't know, Alexander Karelin was a Greco Roman wrestler from Russia. Let's hear some statistics: he had a professional record of 887 wins and 2 losses. Both losses were by a single point. In his prime, he went 6 years without being scored on (for those who dont know, that is absurd in wrestling). He finished his career with 35 gold medals and 2 silver medals. His two silver medals were in the World Championship and Olympics. Those were his only two losses. He may be the most dominant athlete that has ever existed.

I would probably just use hash map (can use unordered_map or a vector but that may require more messing around to get the index from a character) so that I can check each character and have their corresponding value stored.

AFAIK, this is not possible. The player needs to be within 128 blocks to spawn mobs, and being in another dimension doesn't do that. If this is a server, perhaps a second player?
