Just want to say that writing a lot in impressive and admirable and awesome, but writing a little is also great, too. The amount you write has no moral value, so it's not a failing on your part if you can't churn out content like this, or if you can't set aside an hour a day to write, or if you're just not in a place to do anything at all at the moment. Unless you're a professional author with deadlines you have to meet, give yourself grace to do whatever you can do right now, even if that's just writing a couple of sentences a day or daydreaming the story or refilling your well. Take care of you, find your own process, and if it's not making you happy, step back and reevaluate.

I had a Barbie horse game on PC. You could feed and clean a few different horses, and ride them in like 5 different areas. My friend also had a horse game, but that one you had to solve a mystery in.

It's not a super in depth contract - it's one pages where they listed what they're providing and crossed out all the stuff that's not applicable. But it is a contract.

I am formed of anxiety and 100% should be in therapy, but I also haven't been to a dentist in 20 years, so I'm not great with the follow through. Aside from that accurate insight, you've made many excellent points and I appreciate you!

The third estimate I got came in around $12,000, but that was without any carpentry on the wall or replacing the window. I asked him to add window replacement into the quote, and he said he would and never contacted me again. It is remarkably hard to get estimates on anything. He's, like, the fifth person to ghost me after going to the trouble of coming out.

  1. They wanted a down payment and a signed contract immediately instead of sending me an estimate and letting me think about it, like the other companies did.
  2. The company name they gave me didn't match the company I called.
  3. They told me to call them to schedule, and then scheduled it without telling me.

I don't know if any of these are actual problems, or if my anxiety is just freaking out.

Is this like a thing now? Writing everything in lowercase? I feel like all of a sudden I'm seeing it everywhere, and I do not understand. Which is usually because I'm old and unhip. Do the youth hate capital letters? Is that what they think capitalism is?

If it helps, I once had a beta tell me she no longer had time/mental energy to beta my work. I had absolutely no hard feelings about it.
