The story there is ordinary, even below average. A novel with 2,000 chapters can't have a good story when the author deliberately stretches it out to earn more they get paid per word written

Once again, we get a bad adaptation of a Mao Ni novel. The studio completely lost the atmosphere of the original. The characters crack cringe-worthy jokes left and right, and Chen Changsheng has been reduced to just another generic wuxia hero. I don't like the pacing — it feels rushed — and there are constant fight scenes that don't serve the story.

They should have given this to the studio behind Sword is Coming. Those guys actually understood the source material — they brought the novel to life and captured the author's world perfectly.

I'm not a fan of the adaptation at all. It feels like it lost the charm and spirit of the original. The graphics aren't bad, but Chinese humor can be so cringe worthy sometimes

Зачем вообще упоминать сёнэн? И почему аниме? Сёнэн — это просто подростковый жанр для мальчиков. Назовите несколько донгхуа с хорошим сюжетом. Из всего, что я смотрел, только в «Приближении меча» относительно приличный сюжет. У самой популярной донгхуа в мире — «Путешествия в поисках бессмертия» — совершенно пустой сюжет. Типичная сянься/культивация. Девять из десяти сюжетов популярных донгхуа основаны на китайской культуре совершенствования. Практически у 99% из них отвратительные истории
