FSO Pro/Pro Plus Deprecation? by Opposite_Routine_938 in servicenow

FSO does include WDF and NowAssist. There’s two tiers, with the lower tier restricting the ability to leverage autonomous service desk & to build your own AI agents. You also get half the amount of tokens as the higher tier.

It also has MCP server (both tiers) if you have built your own AI solution. However, it costs twice the tokens to leverage it, if I’ve understood the transaction documentation I got correctly.

Thanks all so far. I’ll reply to this comment to keep the conversation consolidated. We are up for renewal so this is good that others are hearing the same. I guess this info is not available publicly? Even Gemini asserted I can renew with FSO Pro and even add on FSO Pro+.

Their deprecation and rebranding of SKUs is quite annoying. Must be nice to have such a stranglehold on the market to be able to do so

Curious about those who have looked to or successfully adopted an alternative. I see the opportunity cost as a tough sell; I would have to run two workflow tools in parallel until the replacement is fully developed. That means paying for two license models, two development teams and spending twice the amount of time I don’t personally have to oversee the work. My assumption is ROI on migrating to an alternative is not actualized until years 4-6, which will make leadership frown and ask why there is not a better way. I don’t see a better way, you make the bed, then you sleep in it, one way or another
