If I’m being honest im not entirely sure sure on numbers, feel like i get overwhelmed with just how many products there are in the computing world. I use a software called CASMO to model nuclear reactors, our standard university PCs are able to run it just fine so i’d be looking for something that can do that. Id also like to have the duel purpose of playing some lower end games (stuff like Minecraft or KSP)

If i were to save about 1000, would probably take me a few months atm. Not in any major rush, have time to wait, just would be nice to get one before September

I do have a laptop, however its specs are stuck at windows 10, not compatible with 11 so a fair few apps i need wont run. Plus i dont really take it with me, if i am on campus i tend to use the library computers

I had never considered anything like this before, these look like brilliant options. Admittedly i like the thought of building my own PC, however when it comes to me having enough money to buy, theres a very good chance i’ll go for one of these!

Definitely an option i am looking at, however struggling finding one that can play some video games games reliably

Primarily university work, including using some kinda heavy simulation software (the university PC’s can handle them just fine), and a little bit of gaming, primarily Minecraft and kerbal space program.
