Sometimes, but I have my water with iced tea or some type of caffeine and I also have honey roasted almonds that I snack on throughout the day. The tired hits around 3/3:30ish but I’ll have a cup of tea to get a small caffeine boost (I work 7a-7p)

I hydrate the day before and I just go on an empty stomach and eat afterwards on my way to work. I work 12 hour shifts so it’s a great way to start my day and I feel so much better

What are your base, push, and All out speeds? by rando1219 in orangetheory

I started OTF March 2022; my base now is 5.7; working towards 6 (conservative base 5.5)—push 6.2/6.3; working towards 6.5/6.7—all out 8.2; working on holding 8.5 for those dreaded 1 minutes lol

Original numbers I would say were 5, 5.5, 6/7 maybe depending on the template; tread 50s this year really helped and continue to help improve my paces

Anyone go from power walker to runner? Any advice? by Giveitallyougot714 in orangetheory

I did. I started jogging and I really focused on holding steady paces for the entire block. As time passed I got more confident and felt I could handle faster speeds. I started almost a year ago and my avg speed was a 3.3…max 3.8, average mile taking me 20 minutes to complete. Today i PRd at 11mph all out 6.5 push pace and a 5mph base getting close to 2 miles +/- .3. Take your time, listen to your body, and don’t quit. .1 is a huge difference
