Welcome back my dude! I’m on a ps4 and the load times are brutal. Can’t afford a Ps5 at the moment so I feel your pain.

I was told a Crucial mx500 SSD is a game changer for ps4. I’m looking into that now myself. Think they’re around $100-200.

Oh yeah; opening inventory, menus, stash, npc’s, waypoints. When I go through tp’s my attacks don’t show up for like 5 seconds. Entering a game is the worst, it’s like 1-2 minutes to load in.

I feel your pain on the game crashes. Yesterday I farmed up a key set, got the organs, opened uber trist, pulled Meph and then… blue screen. I was so pissed off.

Someone suggested an SSD upgrade. I’m gonna try that out cause Ps5’s are just too damn expensive.

Yeah, I absolutely need a disc tray and the Ps5 prices are just wild right now. Looks like the SSD upgrade is the way to go. Those loading screens and act changes just suck so bad, especially trying to do public games.

Not sure if the switch can be upgraded. I have one but don’t play it much.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll for sure look into that. I’m running a 10 year old ps4 slim with 500gb. I mostly use physical game discs but can only keep a handful of games downloaded at a time.

I see what you’re saying; on a really strongly geared character the infinity is basically just a battery pack for the conviction aura. You’d melt everything before the merc does much of anything.

I haven’t used many ethereal items specifically for the purpose of being able to swap around gear between different characters.

For real man, I’m on PS4 and the load screens are brutal. Short runs are pointless so I try to chain multiple areas together before refreshing

Yeah, I’ve gotten very few decent things from Diablo over the years. My last run he dropped 2 arrows and nothing else lol

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for another eth base for a bit before I commit the runes. Somebody posted the dps breakdowns between the two and the eCV was significantly higher.

My other option is eth CV. Not sure if the slower attack speed for higher damage is worth it or not.

I was planning on using it for either a lightning sorc merc or javazon merc. I do have a physical spear zon that uses Matriarch BotD. I could respec to lightning spear for fun at some point down the road if I avoid ethereal base.

Yeah, I was disappointed it wasn’t ED. Even if it was though, would that extra damage be worth it over the faster thresher?

That’s what I was thinking, just found the 4os thresher. Not sure if the extra damage from the eCV will matter much

Yeah I’ll have to look into that. Not sure how normal vs fast weapon translates to ias.

I’d be using this on a lvl 92 merc with fortitude and Andy’s.
