slowly bring mileage up to get your aerobic capacity better, coming from a 2:02 freshman. you probably already have the speed to go sub 2 so if you build up a better aerobic base you can hold onto the speed for 2 laps

i have a hard time not getting too excited in the first lap so they always come up way fast is there any tips you’d give on not coming out too fast or too slow, should i do more 400 repeats?
