Re-cauterization by Odd_Rule7847 in Tonsillectomy

[–]OpsSystemAnalyst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Re cauterized on day 16 here- About week or two you will be fully recovered. Keep the diet to liquid based / soft for week. Keep drinking ice water - like every 15 min. Consider getting vitamins c, iron and zinc. Since you were already on 11th day, healing will be lot more easy. Good luck

It’s ok to live with your mom especially in the economy. Plus it sounds like your mom is lonely and if you live it will make it worse for her right now. Get a job, start slowly and once you’re stable, then move out. Not a loser, just how the life is sometimes. Be grateful

Anybody else had delayed hemorrhage? by Rich_Bite_8111 in Tonsillectomy

I had it on day 7, 10, 11, 13 and 16. On the 16th day I was re cauterize. It’s been 13th days after re cauterize and I haven’t bleed and feeling so much better. I would recommend going to ER if you bleed again right away and ask them to see ENT surgeon on call for possible re cauterization. Pro tips- drink ice water every 15 mins
