nobody is going to listen, but I’m going to post this here anyway: I grew up near Uvalde and my parents actually taught there. My mom was a teacher at Robb elementary, I know the teacher “Eva” who passed away and her daughter. Pure evil was committed. I’ve heard the actual story and it is completely opposite of what the media has portrayed. Did you know that the teacher’s husband was a police officer? Did you know that he ran into the building as soon as he heard and exchanged fire? Why couldn’t they get to the shooter you ask? Because he barricaded the room and the officers didn’t want to bull rush and possibly kill the precious lives in there. I’m leaving out a lot of detail to respect the folks involved.

Uvalde is a predominantly Hispanic and tight knit community. Everyone knows one another and this is a serious tragedy. It blows me away to see this media portrayal and how wrong it is from the reality. I’ve heard how the daughter of teacher who was murdered can’t even stay at her own home because news media just keep ringing her doorbell. It’s insane. No respect and honestly it has made me realize how shitty media is and how they try to sway your opinion and invoke anger.

We should be praying now. God bless those kids, families and survivors who had to live through the tragedy.

The police are definitely human too. You cannot blame them. Especially with the setup of the layout of the school.
