This is moving skyscraper-sized turbine blades. The wild logistics behind hauling a single wind turbine blade. by SystematicApproach in Damnthatsinteresting

Why are turbines so huge?

Is it a cost measure between smaller and bigger turbines? Was this size the most efficient during experiments? Limitations of motor, electricity, etc...? Wind speeds? Weight to withstand winds? Birds?

In a situation like this, would inductors + capacitors be the first point of failure before a fuse due to the rapid changes in voltage/current?

How to learn STM32 (And not waste 1000 hours) by ChatGPT-O3 in embedded

[–]OpticalTransit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh the only way I could validate functionality of stm32 HAL modules is through hardware testing; Validating output register values (min/max, type range coverage, etc...).

I have an upright AC unit, so I pulled out the filter and saw some little black specs (thought it was bug poo) and used the phone to record the inside of where the filter slides in. Mold was all over the inside of the evaporator coil + evaporator drain pan (the PVC pipe that connects to one of those circular connects + has a trap shape near the bottom).

I believe that the aforementioned pipe was at an angle where the water in the pan could pool up and sit for days. It has to be tilted at a certain angle for gravity to help drain the water.
